This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

I have put my trust in the Lord God  (Psalm 73:28b NKJV)

God is all and is in all, what more do we need? He is the Lord God Almighty; He provides for every need. The Lord is with us and has promised to never leave us. He owns the storehouses of heaven; there is no need that He cannot supply. If we lack anything that He wants us to have all we have to do is ask and He will give it to us. Through Christ Jesus He will pour out blessing, for our sufficiency in Christ is always enough and in Him we can find whatever we need for the Lord is faithful and true, and His love for us is merciful and everlasting. Let us trust in the Lord and bring our hearts before Him. Ask of Him and He will open His arms. Pray and He will hear. Believe in His promises and He will deliver them. Trust in Him.

May you trust in Him who loves you with an everlasting love.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.  (Psalm 127:1a)

The Lord gives us life, and He gives us the ability to build our life, to make a life from what He gives us. But if we want to have success in our life, if we want our endeavors to produce fruit, if we want to have a life worthy of living, we labor in vain if we build carelessly or unwisely, for the wise builder makes the Lord first in everything in life: First in us, first in family, first in work, first in ministry, first in whatever we would build in our life. If we are wise we go to the Lord first before we even begin planning. For the Lord should be first and He wants to be first in everything in our life. Let Him who gave us life be first in our life.

May the Lord bless you to seek His plans for your life.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;  my hope comes from him.

He alone is my rock and my salvation…”    (Psalm 62:5-6a)

May the Lord keep us ever mindful of where our hope comes from, for in Him alone can we find rest for our weary souls. In God, and in God alone, can we hope; He is our rock: unmovable, unshakable; He is our salvation, and there is no other, for no other loves us as He does. He sent His Son that we might find rest in Him when we are weary and burdened, for this is His promise, today, tomorrow, and always. Look to Him and He will give you rest.

May the Lord bless you with the hope that comes from Him, and find rest for your soul.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

The Lord Almighty is with us…    (Psalm 46:7a)

The Lord is with us. The world may tremble and shake, our lives may be turned upside down, but He who saved us from sin and death is ever with us for we are His children and He cares for us. In every situation where we might find ourselves, He is already there. There is nothing that can happen nor anything that can ever befall us where the Lord is not there to be with us. He is ever interceding for the saints, for those who belong to Him, and the Lord Almighty hears His voice. His love covers us; His strength upholds us; He helps us in time of trouble. He calls upon us be still and know that He is the Lord God Almighty.

May the Lord bless you with His presence,

This week’s scripture is from John:

“He must increase, but I must decrease”  (John 3:30).

As Christians, as children of the Most High God, our desire, our calling, is to become more like Christ, for it is He who justified us by His grace, and by His grace, and only by His grace, can we become more like Him. Let us fight to put the old man, the old nature, to death that we might die to ourselves that Christ might live in us. Let us strive to grow in Christ, to emulate Christ and to be Christ-like in all we do and say. Let us too say that we must become less that He can become more, and may God grant us the grace to become less that He may become more in our life. Less of me and more of thee, O God. Let it be so.

May the Lord bless you to be more like Him each day.

This week’s scripture is from Malachi:

“For I am the Lord, I change not.”  (Malachi 3:6a)

How can we be sure in a world that is ever-changing? It seems everything around us keeps changing. What is here today may not be here tomorrow. People come into our lives and people go. What we have today we may not have tomorrow. The news says this, the news says that. Yesterday it said this was true, but today it is not. Nations clash and the world is tilted on its axis. Yet there is one who does not change; He is not tossed about by the waves of time and trial. Nothing surprises Him or throws Him off-balance, ever, for the Lord is steadfast and true; He is righteous and always perfect. His timing is perfect; His word is perfect; His love is perfect. He changes not. Let us lay hold of Him who is unwavering and unchanging.

May the Lord be your rock and your righteous blessing.

This week’s scripture is from Acts:

“Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.”   (Acts 13:38)

He came that we might know Him; He sacrificed himself and bled and died that we might be forgiven for our sins and receive eternal life. We know that if we are faithful to confess our sins He will forgive us. Let us not hold back, but let us come humbly before the Lord and freely confess our sins. Let us remember to forgive those who have wronged us for He forgives us in the same measure as we forgive those who have sinned against us. If Jesus forgave those who killed him who are we to not forgive those who have wronged us? We must forgive. And let us not neglect to forgive ourselves for our sins as well, for who are we to not forgive ourselves for our wrongs when the Lord has forgiven us? Forgive and be forgiven. Trust in Him.

May you be blessed by the Lord’s forgiveness and mercy.

This week’s scripture is from Acts:

“…they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day…” (Acts 17:11)

How important it is to read the Word of God, to know the Word of God, to study the Word of God, for the Lord speaks to us through His word. We want God to speak to us; we want God to hear us. We want to hear God when we pray and when we have tough questions, and questions only He can answer. When we know His word, then He can speak to us through His word, for when we pray He will bring to mind His word; He will bring to mind a passage or a story or a parable or a person or remind us what Jesus said, and we will have our answer. We will know what we should do or what is the right path for us. He will give us answers; He will give us wisdom and hope, grace and peace. He will speak through His word to us. So let us be reminded to indulge ourselves in the Word of God, to read the living word and get life from it.

May the Lord bless you to read His word daily and be blessed by it.

Happy Easter!  This week’s scripture is from Matthew:

But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, [just] as He said.”           (Matthew 28:5-6)

He is risen, He is risen, He is risen! Thank God, thank God, thank God Almighty. Jesus Christ is alive forevermore. He sacrificed Himself that we might be reconciled to God our Father, that we might know Him and the mercy of His grace. He is the bread of life, the Holy One, the Son of God; He sealed the new covenant in His blood that we might have the forgiveness of our sins, that we might have salvation and eternal life. Thank you Lord Jesus. How blessed we are to know His love and the beauty of His grace.

May the blessings of the Lord’s sacrifice strengthen you each day.

This week’s scripture is from Mark:

“Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it.  And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the [palm] trees and spread them on the road. Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

“Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Blessed is the kingdom of our father David That comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”                  (Mark 11:7-10 NKJV)

Praise the Lord. Raise your voice! The Lord is come. Blessed be His name. Shout Hallelujah! He is come! He is come! He is come! The Prince of Peace, the Lord of Salvation, the Lord of Lords is come and we are blessed. Glory to God in the Highest! Sing, cry out! Praise His holy name. The Lord reigns! Here is the Lord, the Holy One, the Son of God. Rejoice you saints. Raise your voice; raise your hands; lift your hearts. Praise the Lord! The Lord is come! The Lord is come! The Lord is come! Blessed be His name! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen.

May the blessing of the coming of the Lord fill your heart with joy.
