This week’s scripture is from 1 Chronicles:

Look to the LORD and his strength;
seek his face always.

Remember the wonders he has done,
his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced…
   (1 Chron. 16:11-12)

God is great; God is good. The world is troubled; the trials of life come against us, but God is faithful. When we are weak, He is strong. When we cry out, He is there. Let us look to the Lord and remember that our God is a miracle-working God. When there is no way, He makes a way. He moves and miracles happen; the Word is spoken and bodies are healed, souls are delivered, those in bondage are set free. Jesus came that we might know Him and blessings of His love. He pours out His grace upon us, for He loves us. We are witnesses to the wonders of His mercy and love, that we might proclaim Him.

Seek the Lord and may the miracles of God’s blessings be upon you this day.

This week’s scripture is from Jeremiah:

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose hope is the LORD.”
  (Jeremiah 17:7)

Blessing follows belief, for the Lord pours out His blessings on those who believe in Him and trust in His holy name. In every situation the Lord is our hope and our salvation. Call on His name and He will answer; pray and He will hear; seek Him first and He will provide for every need. Never does the Lord leave His children forsaken; those who trust in Him shall not want; though hardship or trouble arise all around us, He never leaves us as orphans, for we are the children of the King of Glory, and our hope, our confidence, is in Him who gave Himself for us. Praise be to the Lord God Almighty and to Jesus Christ His son and to the Holy Spirit, the spirit of God. Thank you, O Lord. Let us praise His holy name.

May the Lord pour out His blessings and mercies upon you as you trust in Him.

This week’s scripture is from John:

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”   (John 14:27)

Let us call upon the Lord. How often our hearts are troubled within us for we live in a troubled world. Yet in the midst of trouble Jesus promises us peace, for Jesus is the way to peace for our troubled hearts, and our troubled world. Because of His sacrifice for us, because of His blood, death, and resurrection, we have peace with God, and that peace brings peace to our hearts. Because He lives, we believe and have life eternal. So let us turn our eyes upon Jesus and praise God for His goodness. Let us lift up the One who makes our hearts glad and rejoice in Him who is our Lord and Savior, the Prince of Peace.

May the peace of Jesus Christ reign in your heart as you turn to Him.

This week’s scripture is from Romans:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”                (Romans 15:13)

In these trying times our hearts may be heavy, but let us be mindful where our hope comes from, for He is faithful to all who trust in Him. He is our source of hope and all that is good, for by His Holy Spirit we carry the joy of the Lord within us. Blessed are they who rejoice in the Lord and who fill their days with the hope that lies in Christ Jesus. Let our hearts be at peace as we remember from whom our hope comes, for He who rules over our hearts is coming again to rule and reign over all things with mercy and grace.

May your heart overflow with hope and joy and peace as you trust in Him who is faithful.

This week’s scripture is from 2 Corinthians:

For all the promises of God are yes in [Christ], and in him Amen…”   (2 Cor. 1:20 JUB)

When life and the weight of the world are pressing down upon us, and the cares and burdens of life are too many, it is good to remember the promises of God. He promises He has plans for us for good, for a future and a hope; He promises that when we are weary and burdened He will give us rest; He promises that those who trust in the Lord will find new strength; He promises He will supply all our needs from His glorious riches given to us in Christ. His Word promises that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love; He promises that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead we will be saved and have eternal life; He promises He will never leave us or forsake us. How good are the promises of God. Praise Him and speak them aloud over yourself.

May the Lord bless you to lean upon His promises and trust in Him.

This week’s scripture is from Revelation:

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty”   (Rev.1:8).

The Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, our Lord and our God. In these days and months ahead, let us remember Him who is sovereign over all the earth, over all time, over all history, over all people, over everything that ever has been, is, and ever will be. May we be in awe of Him who is Lord of All, Most High God, the Almighty One, who loves us and sent His Son that we might know Him and the beauty of His mercy and grace, now and forevermore; blessed be His name. Praise God; Praise God.

May the Lord God Almighty ever reign as the Lord of your life through His son, Jesus Christ.

This week’s scripture is from Isaiah:

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulders. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”  (Isaiah 9:6)

Let us praise God as we gather together and celebrate the advent of Christ’s birth, for He came that we might know Him and the beauty of His grace, that through Him all creation might know salvation, that the peace of God might reign in us. Thank God that He sent His Son. Blessed be His name, and blessed are we to receive so great a gift, so wonderful a savior. May we forever praise His name and preach the good news, that some might believe and receive eternal life in Christ.

May the Lord bless you this Christmas season with all the blessings of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

This week’s scripture is from Jeremiah:

“Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; his love endures forever.”  (Jeremiah 33:11)

Let us come before the Lord with thankful hearts and praise Him who loves us with an everlasting love. Thank the Lord who provides for all our needs and gives generously to all who come to Him. Let us bow down before Him and give thanks for the great and many blessings He has poured out upon us, for He provides for our every need and fills us with all that is good. Thank the Lord for sending His son Jesus Christ that we might know Him and the mercy of His grace. Let us praise God for He is good and all He does is good; let us give thanks to Him. Thanks be to God, the Lord Almighty, for all He has done.

May you be blessed as you come before the Lord with thanksgiving.

This week’s scripture is from the Psalms:

“Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord.

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope” (Psalm 130:1,5)

It can be difficult to wait patiently for the Lord when seeking an answer to prayer or relief from suffering, but the Lord hears the cry of our hearts; He hears when we cry out from the depths of our soul. Yet He is faithful and true, and we can depend on His Word, for it is our help and our salvation, our hope in the day of trouble. May the Lord teach us to be patient in trials and affliction, and prayerful in waiting.

May the Lord bless you with the hope that is in His Word.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

“The LORD is faithful to all his promises
and loving toward all he has made.

The LORD upholds all those who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.”
(Psalm 145:13b-14)

Thank God that He is loving and faithful. Do not let go of God’s promises. Believe the promises of His Word, for they are yea and amen in Christ. Believe if He has promised you healing, believe if He has promised salvation for one you’ve been praying for, believe if He has said He still has a work for you to do, believe God’s promise, believe His Word, for it never fails. He lifts up those who have been bowed down, for He is the Faithful One. Remember today to thank God and praise Him for His faithfulness.

I pray that this day, and each day, you will praise the Lord for His love and faithfulness towards you.
