This week’s scripture is from Philippians:

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.”       (Phil. 4:19-20)

It is good to remember that no matter what we need in life, whether that need is spiritual or physical, God Almighty will give us whatever we need through Jesus Christ. If we need provisions, we can call upon His name; if we need healing, we can call upon His name; if we need His spirit to touch us in any way, we can call upon the Lord and He will provide. Our Lord’s grace and His storehouse are never empty, and He wants to fulfill our every need. If we are faithful to call upon His name; He is there. Call upon the Lord and He will bless you in Christ Jesus this very day.

May the Lord’s love and mercy flow to you as you call upon His name.

This week’s scripture is from Deuteronomy:

“Surely the Lord our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire.”    (Deut. 5:24)

Our God is an awesome God; the heavens declare His glory; the Earth displays the splendor of His creation. How majestic is His name in all the Earth; how magnificent is His reign; how miraculous is His love, beyond all understanding. At His Word the world appeared; at His Word life appeared; at His Word truth and salvation came to us in Jesus Christ. To God belongs the glory; great things He has done, and around the throne of God the angels sing, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.” Glory to God in the Highest; Glory to God in the Highest. He is an awesome God.

May the glory of God fill your heart with praise and worship each day.

This week’s scripture is from Matthew:

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.  (Matt. 4:23)

Good things happen when Jesus is present in our lives. If we read and follow His word we learn what He wants us to learn, and we can teach others. Knowing His word we can spread the good news of the kingdom of God to all around us and to the ends of the Earth. And it is Jesus who changes us from who we were before we knew Him to who we are supposed to be. He heals us in all the ways we need to be healed. It is miraculous that He heals us spiritually, mentally, and physically. When we come into the Lord’s presence with praise and thanksgiving we make ourselves available for the power of the Holy Spirit to come over us to heal us and make us whole, and to make us more and more like Christ. Let us come before the Lord with prayer, praise, and thanksgiving; let us come into His presence and be healed.

May the Lord bless you with His presence.

This week’s scripture is from Romans:

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”    (Romans 5:1-2)

How good is God. Let us rejoice that though we were once wanderers and enemies of God that through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ we now have peace with God, and that by that same faith we live under His grace. How great is the love of God towards us that through His Son we can rejoice in the assurance of the “hope of the glory of God,” now and unto eternal life. Let us praise the Lord for reconciling us to God and bringing us peace.

May the peace of God that comes through faith be with you each day in every circumstance.

This week’s scripture comes from Ephesians:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Eph. 1:3).

It is good to remember that all our spiritual blessings come from God our Father who blesses us with every good thing. We are blessed because He has blessed us through His son Jesus Christ in whom all blesses flow and find their fulfillment. Let us praise our Father in heaven for the gift of His son through whom we are forgiven, through whom we have our salvation, through whom we are loved, and through whom we have eternal life. Blessed be the name of our Lord and Father in heaven, for great are His grace and faithfulness; great are His promises; great is His love for us. Let us praise the name of the Lord Most High. Let us give thanks and bow our hearts before Him. Great are our blessings in Jesus Christ.

May you raise your voice in praise to God our Lord and Father.

This week’s scripture is from Deuteronomy:

“Be grateful for the good things that the Lord your God has given you and your family…” (Deut. 26:11 GNT)

Let us come to the Lord with grateful and thankful hearts. Let us remember the One who has blessed us and who has been gracious unto us. Let us not be overwhelmed with our troubles or turn to grumbling or worry about what tomorrow will bring. Let us count our blessings; let us remember all of the good things that God has done for us. Let us remember the ways He has interceded for us, how He provided for us, how He brought healing, and the prayers that were answered. Let us remember that every good thing in life has come from God who is full of goodness and mercy. Let us turn our attention to the One who loves us with an everlasting love. Let us be grateful for all He has done for us and all He will still do.

May your heart be filled with gratitude for all the Lord has done.

This week’s scripture is from Hebrews:

“Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.”   (Hebrews 2:11)

To belong to God is to belong to His family, for we are not alone, but we are all one in Christ Jesus. To come to salvation in Christ and to live in relationship with Him is to belong to the family of God: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, and to be in fellowship with all of those who belong to Him, for those whom He calls brothers and sisters are also our brothers and sisters, for in Christ we are all one family of believers, all travelers on the path of righteousness, all sojourners toward eternity with Him. Rejoice and be glad, for our family in Christ are our true brothers and sisters, all children of the One True God.

May you be blessed and be a blessing in the Lord’s family.

This week’s scripture is from Luke:

“And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”   (Luke 22:19 NKJV)

He is the only one who deserves our worship, honor, and praise. He is the one who was broken for us, who took our punishment upon Himself, who bled for us, who died for us, that we might be forgiven and reconciled to God, our Father. Jesus willing sacrificed Himself that we might be justified before God and receive eternal life, that we might be cleansed in His blood, that we might be made new, a new creation in Christ. Let us honor Him with remembrance; let us give Him thanks. Let us worship together, and praise Him for the forgiveness of our sins, and in thanksgiving and in remembrance of what He has done for us.

May you remember the sacrifice He made for you and give Him praise.

This week’s scripture is from Galatians:

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”   (Gal. 6:9-10)

It is so easy to become weary. Life can wear us down. The world weighs on us; work seems never ending; one task is barely done before another takes its place. Everything clamors for our attention and the grind becomes so tiresome. At times we long to let it be enough, to walk away, to answer no more calls. But take heart; the One who called you is true. He never fails; He is there to buck us up. He is our strength and our shield. Armor up and take up the sword; His battle is already won. Don’t stop or turn back. Cry, “Victory!” and go into the fields where He has sent you. Speak love into them that you meet and bless all of them who believe. Speak the name of Him who sent you and declare the love of God.

May the Lord bless you with strength and empower you to speak the Word in love this very day.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

“… give thanks to the LORD for His goodness…” (Psalm 107:21a NKJV)

God is good; everything about God is good, for goodness is His very nature. All He has created is good; God’s goodness flows like living water from His throne of grace. God is good; there is no other like God: rich in mercy, patient and long-suffering, pouring out His blessings, showing love and kindness to each generation. He is wrapped in goodness like a cloak of light; it radiates from His very being. God is good, for He is trustworthy and true; He sent His son to redeem us, to bring His goodness to us, that His grace and mercy might save us, for His goodness overcomes all evil and is a shield about us. Give thanks to God for His great goodness; praise Him that He is good, for His goodness lasts forever. Amen.

May the goodness of the Lord bless you as you give Him praise and thanks.
