This week’s scripture is from Galatians:

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”   (Gal. 6:9-10)

It is so easy to become weary. Life can wear us down. The world weighs on us; work seems never ending; one task is barely done before another takes its place. Everything clamors for our attention and the grind becomes so tiresome. At times we long to let it be enough, to walk away, to answer no more calls. But take heart; the One who called you is true. He never fails; He is there to buck us up. He is our strength and our shield. Armor up and take up the sword; His battle is already won. Don’t stop or turn back. Cry, “Victory!” and go into the fields where He has sent you. Speak love into them that you meet and bless all of them who believe. Speak the name of Him who sent you and declare the love of God.

May the Lord bless you with strength and empower you to speak the Word in love this very day.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

“… give thanks to the LORD for His goodness…” (Psalm 107:21a NKJV)

God is good; everything about God is good, for goodness is His very nature. All He has created is good; God’s goodness flows like living water from His throne of grace. God is good; there is no other like God: rich in mercy, patient and long-suffering, pouring out His blessings, showing love and kindness to each generation. He is wrapped in goodness like a cloak of light; it radiates from His very being. God is good, for He is trustworthy and true; He sent His son to redeem us, to bring His goodness to us, that His grace and mercy might save us, for His goodness overcomes all evil and is a shield about us. Give thanks to God for His great goodness; praise Him that He is good, for His goodness lasts forever. Amen.

May the goodness of the Lord bless you as you give Him praise and thanks.

This week’s scripture is from the Psalms:

“I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever: with my mouth will I make known your faithfulness to all generations.

For I have said, “Mercy shall be built up forever: your faithfulness you shall establish in the very heavens.”   (Psalm 89:1-2 NKJV)

Let us be ever mindful of the great mercy of the Lord and His exceeding faithfulness. His mercies are new every day and His faithfulness is perfect, beyond measure. May we ever remember His great mercy and unfailing faithfulness toward us. Let us remember to proclaim the Lord’s mercies and faithfulness to all who will listen, to every generation, to the very heavens, in praise and adoration. Thank you, Lord.

May you praise the Lord for His great mercy and faithfulness to you.

This week’s scripture is from Matthew:

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34)

Let us remember who we are and to whom we belong, for we are children of the Most High God. We are His and He is ours if we have given ourselves to Him. Let us remember each day to seek Him and His righteousness, for He is faithful to take care of us and to bless us. Whatever we need, whatever trouble or difficulty we face, He is there to see us through. Let us learn to trust, to lean upon His everlasting arms, to sit quietly in His presence and be at peace, for He is ever with us. Let us not worry about tomorrow, but let us remember to whom tomorrow belongs, for He is already there and He knows it already.

May the Lord bless you to trust totally in Him.

Happy Easter! This week’s scripture is from Matthew:

But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, [just] as He said.”           (Matthew 28:5-6)

He is risen, He is risen, He is risen! Thank God, thank God, thank God Almighty. Jesus Christ is risen; He is alive. He sacrificed Himself that we might be reconciled to God our Father, that we might know Him and the mercy of His grace, for He is the bread of life, the Holy One, the Son of God; He sealed the new covenant in His blood that we might have the forgiveness of our sins, that we might have salvation and eternal life. Thank you Lord Jesus. How blessed we are to know His love and the beauty of His grace.

May the blessings of the Lord’s sacrifice strengthen you as you follow in His ways.

This week’s scripture is from Matthew:

“So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the [palm] trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

“Hosanna to the Son of David!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’
Hosanna in the highest!”
   (Matthew 21:6-9)

Praise the Lord, God Almighty! He is come! The Prince of Peace; the Lord of Salvation; the Holy One of God is come. Rejoice you saints, rejoice, for the Son of God is here. Shout! Cry out! Praise His Holy Name. Let loose your tongue and raise your voice; praise the heavens above for our King is come. Open your hearts and open your mouth, declare him King of Kings and Lord of Lords, for there is no other, and no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, for at His name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen.

May your heart cry out and rejoice at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This week’s scripture is from the Psalms:

“He has sent his redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever:

Holy and awesome is His name”   (Psalm 111:9).

Thank God that He sent His son that we might know redemption through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Thank God that the new covenant in His blood for the forgiveness of sins sets us free. Thank God for His mercy and grace. Thank God that through His sacrifice we have the promise of eternal life with Him. This is truly good news. Holy and awesome is the name above all names. Praise God, praise God. Praise His holy name.

May the blessings of Christ, who died for us, be yours this day.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.
     (Psalm 27:14)

We should wait upon the Lord for He is our light and our salvation. Our Lord is like no other for there is no other like Him. He is our stronghold and our strength in times of trouble; let our hearts not fear but draw close to Him. Let us set our hearts on dwelling in the house of the Lord, safe in the day of trouble, for all the days of our lives. Let us rise with shouts of joy and sing to the Lord for He will not reject us or forsake us. Pray that the Lord teach us and lead us on the straight path. Praise Him, for we will see the goodness of the Lord if we will wait upon Him and be strong in His might, and secure in His everlasting love for us. Amen.

May the Lord bless you as you wait faithfully upon Him.

This week’s scripture is from 2 Thessalonians:

“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.”  (2 Thess. 2:16-17)

God of all grace and God of all mercy thank you for your eternal blessings; thank the Lord for He and He alone is the lifter of our head, for He and He alone is our strength, for He and He alone is our hope — through the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. How great a savior is our Lord! How great are His mercy and grace! How great are His blessings! May His love and grace empower you in every act and in every spoken word, all for His glory, today, tomorrow, and forever.

May the God of grace and the God of glory strengthen you today in faith, mercy, and hope.

This week’s scriptures are from John and Ephesians:

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”    (John 17:3)

” … that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him…”    (Ephesians 1:17)

To know Him, the one true God, and His son Jesus Christ is the most important thing anyone can know. For Jesus said that we must know Him, for not all who call Him “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven just because they prophesied in His name or in His name drove out demons or even performed miracles. If they did not know Him and do the Father’s will, He will say, “I never knew you. Away from me…” We need to know Him and the only way we can get to know Him is to spend time with Him, to hear His voice and His heart. Yes, we have obligations and service to perform, but what good is it if we don’t know Him as He wants to be known? How can He call you friend if you don’t really know Him?

May the Lord bless you with a heart and a spirit to know Him, to know Him better each day.
