This week’s scripture is from Matthew:

“So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the [palm] trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

“Hosanna to the Son of David!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’
Hosanna in the highest!”
   (Matthew 21:6-9)

Praise the Lord, God Almighty! He is come! The Prince of Peace; the Lord of Salvation; the Holy One of God is come. Rejoice you saints, rejoice, for the Son of God is here. Shout! Cry out! Praise His Holy Name. Let loose your tongue and raise your voice; praise the heavens above for our King is come. Open your hearts and open your mouth, declare him King of Kings and Lord of Lords, for there is no other, and no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, for at His name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen.

May your heart cry out and rejoice at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This week’s scripture is from the Psalms:

“He has sent his redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever:

Holy and awesome is His name”   (Psalm 111:9).

Thank God that He sent His son that we might know redemption through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Thank God that the new covenant in His blood for the forgiveness of sins sets us free. Thank God for His mercy and grace. Thank God that through His sacrifice we have the promise of eternal life with Him. This is truly good news. Holy and awesome is the name above all names. Praise God, praise God. Praise His holy name.

May the blessings of Christ, who died for us, be yours this day.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.
     (Psalm 27:14)

We should wait upon the Lord for He is our light and our salvation. Our Lord is like no other for there is no other like Him. He is our stronghold and our strength in times of trouble; let our hearts not fear but draw close to Him. Let us set our hearts on dwelling in the house of the Lord, safe in the day of trouble, for all the days of our lives. Let us rise with shouts of joy and sing to the Lord for He will not reject us or forsake us. Pray that the Lord teach us and lead us on the straight path. Praise Him, for we will see the goodness of the Lord if we will wait upon Him and be strong in His might, and secure in His everlasting love for us. Amen.

May the Lord bless you as you wait faithfully upon Him.

This week’s scripture is from 2 Thessalonians:

“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.”  (2 Thess. 2:16-17)

God of all grace and God of all mercy thank you for your eternal blessings; thank the Lord for He and He alone is the lifter of our head, for He and He alone is our strength, for He and He alone is our hope — through the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. How great a savior is our Lord! How great are His mercy and grace! How great are His blessings! May His love and grace empower you in every act and in every spoken word, all for His glory, today, tomorrow, and forever.

May the God of grace and the God of glory strengthen you today in faith, mercy, and hope.

This week’s scriptures are from John and Ephesians:

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”    (John 17:3)

” … that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him…”    (Ephesians 1:17)

To know Him, the one true God, and His son Jesus Christ is the most important thing anyone can know. For Jesus said that we must know Him, for not all who call Him “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven just because they prophesied in His name or in His name drove out demons or even performed miracles. If they did not know Him and do the Father’s will, He will say, “I never knew you. Away from me…” We need to know Him and the only way we can get to know Him is to spend time with Him, to hear His voice and His heart. Yes, we have obligations and service to perform, but what good is it if we don’t know Him as He wants to be known? How can He call you friend if you don’t really know Him?

May the Lord bless you with a heart and a spirit to know Him, to know Him better each day.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

“Praise the LORD!
Praise the name of the LORD;
Praise Him, O you servants of the LORD!
You who stand in the house of the LORD,
In the courts of the house of our God,
Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good;
Sing praises to His name…”
(Psalm 135:1-3)

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Lift His name on high. For who else is like our Lord, wonderful things He has done. What a privilege it is to serve the Lord. What an honor to stand in His house and declare His Word, for He is our Rock and our Salvation. Sing praises to His name; exalt His name above the heavens. Praise the One who sits on high and blesses us with goodness and mercy. Forever praise Him.

May the blessings of the Lord fill your lips with praise, and may your praise exalt His name.

This week’s scripture comes from 1 John:

“God is love.” (1 John 4:8b)

God is love. Everything about God and who God is can be summed up in three words: God is love. Everything God has done and everything God does is because God is love. He created the earth and all the universe because He is love. He created us because He is love. He sent His son Jesus to save and redeem us because He is love. He offers us eternal life because He is love. We only love because He first loved us. The message of Christ and all of scripture is God is love. Let us ever try to love Him as He loves us. May our hearts rejoice and be glad for God loves us, for God is love. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

May the love of God always be the light in your life.

This week’s scripture comes from Colossians:

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”    (Colossians 3:13)

All who belong to the Lord have been forgiven their sins and trespasses by His sacrifice for us, by His blood, death, and resurrection. Some have been forgiven little and some have been forgiven much, but He forgave all. Let us therefore forgive those who sin or trespass against us, for the Lord commands that we do so as He forgave us our sins and trespasses. Let no one say they will not forgive for the sin was too great against them, for if the Lord forgave those who killed Him, who whipped Him, who abused Him, who nailed Him to the cross, and who crucified Him, what has anyone done to us that is more than that? He forgave those who killed Him; He forgave us. Let us be like our Lord; let us act like our Lord; let us show His love in our forgiveness as He showed His love. Let us forgive others as the Lord forgave us.

May the Lord bless you to forgive as you’ve been forgiven.

This week’s scripture is from 1 John:

“God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”  (1 John 4:16b)

No greater love is there than the love that God the Father has for those who live in His love. Rejoice and thank God for His abiding love, for by His love we are all alive in Christ Jesus, and He lives in us by His love. Pray that we do all we do in love, as the Lord does, and by that love it will come to abide in others.

May the Lord’s love abide in you richly and overflow to all those He puts in your path.

This week’s scripture is from Psalms:

“… we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”     (Psalm 20:7b)

Let us remember the name of the Lord our God; let us call upon His name, for His name is the name above all names. Praise His name for His name is almighty; His name is marvelous; His name is glorious; His name is majestic; His name is holiness; His name is powerful; His name is righteousness; His name is merciful; His name is the truth; His name is peace; His name is loving-kindness; His name is the word; His name is healer; His name is life abundant; His name is savior; His name is Lord of Lords. Praise Him.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you this day as you call upon His name.
