This week’s scripture is from Proverbs:

Adam & EveThere is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.   (Proverbs 14:12)

Let us remember that God’s ways are greater than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. What God has put in place let no one put asunder or cast aside. Man is wise only in his own eyes, for man’s wisdom is foolishness to Him who called forth the universe and set the Earth on its foundation, who created man in His own image and breathed life into him, who made them male and female and declared that they shall be joined and become one flesh.

Trying to usurp God’s laws or rebel against God’s ways is the way of Lucifer, the way of sin. Let us remember that it is God who is sovereign over all there is, was, and ever will be. No matter how well intended, our ways lead to death; God’s ways lead to eternal life.

May the Lord bless you to always bow before His wisdom and mercy.

This week’s scripture is from Deuteronomy:

Jesus is Risen“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”  (Deut. 6:5)

We know that God’s love is perfect, for God is love, and we know that our love is not perfect and we often struggle to love, especially that which is not lovely. We even struggle at times to love God with all our being for to bring our all to bear often seems beyond our ability.

Yet the Lord does not hold this against us, for He knows that we are but dust and that our days are like the flowers of the field, but He who first loved us calls us to Himself and bids us to love Him as Father and Lord. He is a patient and loving Father, and He wants us to love Him as He loves us, with all He is, and with all He has given us in Christ Jesus.

May the Lord bless you to love Him with all you are.

This week’s scripture is from Matthew:

Praying Hands“…when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father…”  (Matthew 6:6)

Those who believe, and belong to the Lord, know it is important to stay close to Him, to love and worship Him. We need to spend time in His word, but it is most important that we get alone every day and pray to the Lord. His son Jesus emphasized prayer to His disciples; He spoke about how to pray and He would  often go off to pray by Himself.

Prayer will help us keep close to God; so pray, give thanks, pour out your heart, and ask the Lord. Listen for Him to answer, whatever is His will, for our Heavenly Father always knows what is best for us. Pray for others, and pray for your loved ones. Do not miss out: spend time each day in His presence; seek out that private time to be with the One who loves you as only He can.

May you seek the Lord’s presence and pray to your Heavenly Father every day.

This week’s scripture is from Deuteronomy:

Jesus Christ risen“Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long …”   (Deut. 33:12)

We know the Lord is our light and our salvation, and we can rest in His love. Regardless of our troubles or those things that rise against our peace and security, if we belong to the Lord then He will be our peace; He will be our shield.

Whatever rises against us in the natural or the spiritual must bow before the Lord, for the Lord loves and protects His own and His love overcomes all that can come against us if we give ourselves into His hands and rest in His love. Let us remember to come and bow our hearts before the Lord who loves us, and pray and call upon His name and He will keep you safe and secure in His love.

May the Lord bless you to rest secure in His love for you.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This week’s scripture is from Deuteronomy:

Jesus is Risen“Be grateful for the good things that the Lord your God has given you and your family …” (Deut. 26:11 GNT)

Let us come unto the Lord with grateful hearts. Let us remember the One who has blessed us and who has been gracious unto us. Let us not be overwhelmed with our troubles or turn to grumbling about our difficulties or worry about what tomorrow will bring.

Let us count our blessings; let us remember all of the good things that God has done for us. Let us remember the ways He has interceded for us, how He brought healing, how He provided for us, and the prayers that were answered. Let us remember that every good thing in life has come from God who is full of goodness and mercy. Let us turn our attention to the One who loves us with an everlasting love. Let us be grateful for all He has done and all He will do.

May your heart be filled with gratitude for all the Lord has done.
