This week’s scripture is from Revelation:

OrionThroneRoom“Holy, holy, holy

is the Lord God Almighty,

who was, and is, and is to come.”             (Rev. 4:8)

Let us come and bow down before Him, for our God is holy; He reigns on high from everlasting to everlasting; He is Lord Almighty; He is faithful and true; He created the heavens and the earth; He sent salvation in His Son, Jesus Christ; He holds eternity in His hands; all He does is holy, and everything He is, is holy, and there is no other like Him. Let us bow our hearts and our heads before Him and give Him honor and glory and praise; let us give Him thanks and throw our crowns down before Him, for He is the Holy One, the Great God who made us and who loves us. Let us love Him who first loved us, and let us worship Him who is holy. Amen.

May your heart yearn for Him who is holy, and may your worship flow.

This week’s scripture is from Romans:

Jesus Christ -- Heinrich Hofmann“Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus…”    (Romans 15:5)

There is one Lord, one God, one Father, one Son, one Holy Spirit; all is One and One is all. If we have the mind of Christ, we have one mind, for He is one and we are one with Him. If we have not the mind of Christ, then we are divided before Him and not of one mind, then we are without peace and our efforts are wasted, and disunity divides the power and grace He means us to have to glorify God the Father and bring the message of redemption and salvation to every place and every person. Let us be of one mind, the mind of Christ Jesus, and set aside all that is not of Him. Let us come together under the light of His word that we might be of one mind abounding in grace and truth.

May the Lord bless you to be of a like-mind in Christ Jesus.

This week’s scripture is from Deuteronomy:

Man holding arms up in praise against a sunburst“I will proclaim the name of the LORD.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!”
(Deut. 32:3)

Praise the Lord! There is a never a time when we should not be praising the Lord, whether good times or bad times, whether in sickness or in good health, whether rich or poor, whether up or down, whether the Lord is silent or not, whether in plenty or in want, whether under Satan’s attack or at peace. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord. Praise Him for His goodness, praise Him for His righteousness, praise Him for His holiness, praise Him for His blessings, praise Him for His provisions, praise Him for His faithfulness, praise Him for His mercy and grace, praise Him for His Son, praise Him for His salvation, praise Him for His everlasting love towards us. In everything and in every situation, praise the Lord.

May your lips ever sing praises to your Lord and Savior, God Almighty.

This week’s scripture is from Proverbs:

Jesus Christ 4“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him …”
                  (Proverbs 3:5-6a)

The giants, the trials and troubles in our life, are often bigger than we are, bigger than we can handle, but they are not bigger than our Lord. Too often we try to take them on alone when we need to get out of the way and let the Lord handle them. We need to surrender ourselves to Him, surrender to His authority, surrender our resistance, surrender and wait upon the Lord, get out of His way and let Him cut down the giants in our life. He commands us to give up our burdens to Him, to give up our interpretation of events,  to give up our weariness, to give up our striving and let Him, let Him take care of us, let Him resolve the situation, let His mercy and grace surround us, and just trust Him, trust Him, fully and completely.

May the Lord give you the grace to submit to Him in all circumstances and be at peace.
