Strengthen and Encourage the Brethren 12/27/09

This week’s scripture is from Revelation:

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty”   (Rev.1:8).

The Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end: Jesus also speaks this of himself in Revelation 22. In these trying times, let us remember who is sovereign over all the earth, over all time, over all history, over all people, over everything that ever has been, is, and ever will be. Let us remain in awe of Him who is Lord of All, the Almighty One, who loves us and sent His Son that we might know Him and the beauty of His love and grace, now and forever; blessed be His name.  Praise God.

May the Lord God Almighty ever reign as the Lord of your life through His son, Jesus Christ.
