Strengthen and Encourage the Brethren 11/22/09

This week’s scripture is from Philippians:

“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
(Phil. 4:4-7)

As we come together with our families and loved ones this Thanksgiving, let us remember to rejoice and be thankful for all the Lord has done for us. Let us thank God that we can come before Him with our prayers and requests, for He is faithful to watch over us, guard us, and provide for us in every circumstance through Christ our Lord.

May you have the peace of God with you this holiday season and may He bless you.
